Our competition entry for the Commonwealth War Graves Memorial in Cape Town's Company's Gardens envisions an undulating pathway and experiential landscape. Combining spaces for reflection and civic engagement, the design culminates in inscribed concrete and copper columns honoring the forgotten Black South Africans lost in the First World War.
